I always carry a tripod and remote. There are Deep shadows, so a accent off camera flash maybe needed also. I free handed some pictures then again there is no excuse not to carry it …

I didn't see any but I was there in December. I could imagine there would be some in the summer and you would have to be careful if you get off the pathways/roads. Most of the pics I took didn't require going into the bush. Hope this helps
