Florida State football to reportedly hire Herb Hand as new offensive line coach
Florida State football has hired Herb Hand as its next offensive line coach, as first reported by 247 Sports. Hand, a three-time finalist for Offensive Line Coach of the Year by Football Scoop (2008, 2016, 2017), has worked under Gus Malzahn in previous years, including the last three years while Malzahn was the head coach at UCF.

Former UCF head coach Gus Malzahn officially became Florida State’s new offensive coordinator on Dec. 2. Hand was on James Franklin’s staff at Vanderbilt then followed Franklin for his first staff at Penn State, coaching in the 2014-15 seasons. He was also the run game coordinator while in Happy Valley.
