Oregon and Penn State don’t have a long history of battles on or off the football field, but that’s beginning to change with the Ducks joinging the Big Ten and the Nittany Lions expanding their efforts to the West coast.

Penn State and Oregon are days away from squaring off in the Big Ten championship game. The Nittany Lions and Ducks are playing for conference bragging rights, as well as a first-round bye in the College Football Playoff — and possibly the No. 1 overall seed.

Penn State Nittany Lions coach James Franklin spoke about the looming Big Ten Championship Game against the Oregon Ducks and coach Dan Lanning. Franklin is looking for his first conference championship with the Nittany Lions since 2016.
