UM Regent Jordan Acker said his Huntington Woods home and his wife's vehicle were both vandalized. Someone threw a mason jar through one of his home's windows and spray-painted the words "Divest and Free Palestine" on an SUV, said Acker, who is Jewish.

The attack marks the third time Jordan Acker has been targeted since Hamas’s October 7 massacre of Israeli citizens last year.

The University of Michigan on Monday denounced an attack on the home of Jordan Acker, a university regent, in which his house was vandalized and pro-Palestinian messages were spray-painted on his wife’s car.

The home of a Jewish member of the University of Michigan’s Board of Regents was vandalized early Monday, in what the university described as “a clear act of antisemitic intimidation.”
