The brief teaser trailer below doesn't reveal much, except for teasing a return to the gorgeous paintbrush art style and a comeback for wolf protagonist Amaterasu. The most notable detail, however, is that original director Hideki Kamiya is returning to helm this new sequel.

One of the big announcements at The Game Awards 2024 today is that Capcom is officially working on a sequel to the classic action-adventure game Okami, and it's once again being directed by the legendary Hideki Kamiya. Platforms haven't yet been announced at the time of writing, but we're certainly hoping it comes to Xbox!
