A Ukrainian defense initiative is making steel armor plates to wrap around the control unit of the Patriot battery.

A steel plate prevented a potential tragedy at Urban Air in South Hackensack when a loaded gun brought into a photo booth by two boys -- one 12, the other 15 -- went off, authorities said.
