Police in Gloucester, Massachusetts, are seeking charges against three teenagers who allegedly assaulted a transgender teen, who says he was punched and called slurs during the attack.

Three teenage boys are facing criminal charges for beating a transgender teen at a party in Massachusetts. Gloucester Police Department said that officers responded to reports of an attack in derelict woodland near Dogtown Road between Goose Cove and Babson Reservoir in Gloucester on August 30.

Three teens were charged with assault and battery in connection with a beating of a transgender boy in Massachusetts. Hate crime charges were not filed.

The assault on the boy, Jayden Tkaczyk, 16, occurred August 30 in a wooded area known as Dogtown where he was hanging out with friends. He said at the time that the attackers used the f slur as they punched and stomped him,
